North Parker Hill Cemetery

So lately there hasn’t been a whole lot to do. I’m not into the whole “lets go get drunk” scene, so I’ve been doing a bit of night photography when I’m not with my girlfriend. My buddy Bryan convinced me to tag along and take pictures at a supposedly “haunted” cometary in Killingworth, Connecticut. North Parker Hill Cemetery may or may not be haunted, I’m not really sure if I believe in that stuff. But I will tell you one thing: it’s scary as hell. We went on a full moon, around ten o’clock, just after it had rained. The wind through the trees sounded like footsteps and voices. We didn’t stick around too long. I don’t think I’ll ever go back, but it was fun. As for the pictures, I screwed up, I didn’t have a good tripod (the thread wobbled) so I was shooting at 1600 iso and the noise was terrible. Well, new tripod now means the night shots are better. Oh the description of the “haunting” is described here: “Killingworth - North Parker Hill Road Cemetery - The ghosts of a bride and groom have been observed crossing the road both to and from this cemetery. A number of other phenomena have been seen and experienced in this cemetery.”

Just saw your post through google, and was wondering if you can give me driving directions to this cemetary! I tried to drive up last night from Madison. I took a left onto Summer Hill road and ended up at a dead end with what appeared to be a farm on the property…I think I was just completely lost! I’m still really interest in visiting this place, my Father told me a true and vivid story about when he visited- really creepy! Get back to me if you can
