Well tonight’s a big night, I’m going to see my favorite band State Radio! What’s more, I’ve secured a photopass for the show. Last time I saw State Radio I got a last minute photo pass from the lead singer about 20 minutes before he took the stage! The shots from that show are here, State Radio 10/5 at the Webster Theater. With the big concert tonight, I’m sure I wont be able to get anything online tonight, so I’ve uploaded an “oldie but goodie.” This is a shot I took from my recent trip to Israel. The shot was taken at my cousin’s house up in the Golan Heights. It’s really a stich of about five or six shots. I hope you all like it -Aaron Snyder

Aaron Snyder is back in the United States! I guess the title of this post is kind of cheating because I’m home and I’m not going to do a big writeup for the pictures. These are some shots from our day in Jerusalem with my cousin Yotvat. Tonight or tomorrow I will put up the last set of pictures and include a big write up of the last few days in Israel. I hope you all have enjoyed my posts and pictures from the trip to Israel. …continue reading Israel: Day Six

I was in a T-Shirt today. And when that wasn’t enough a light sweatshirt was enough. The weather was beautiful today. Now this is what I expected to find in Israel. The wonderful weather complimented an even more wonderful day. …continue reading Israel: Day Five

Well today has been a long day. They say that the country of Israel is about the same size as New Jersey. Unfortunately the drivers are worse than those of New Jersey. Now ordinarily this would be kind of funny. But today our drive to Jerusalem was nuts. Now it was only about an hour long drive from our hotel in Tel Aviv to our hotel in Jerusalem but it was one scary hour. …continue reading Israel: Day Four

If you haven’t already, take a look at Israel: Day One and Israel: Day Two. Okay, so each post I make a comment about the weather. And each comment seems to be a little worse than the previous. Well, today the weather was so bad it kept us in the hotel until 1pm. But we did manage another fun excursion at the market in Tel-Aviv. …continue reading Israel: Day Three

If you haven’t already, check out my post Israel: Day One. I don’t think I could have been more mistaken about the weather in Tel Aviv. In fact, I don’t think anyone expected the weather we’re having right now. The winds are a constant 40mphs with gusts around 70mph. I’ve attached a shot from inside my hotel room. Now you’d think that this weather would stop us from adventuring around Tel Aviv, well it didn’t and it didn’t stop the Israeli’s from enjoying their day either. …continue reading Israel: Day Two

Okay so this starts my dad and my journey to Israel. During the ride to the airport I soon found out that the weather isn’t going to be the sunny sixty degrees he told me it’d be, it’s going to be much colder. In fact Jerusalem and the Golan Heights have gotten snow! Oh well, it’s a good think he packed an extra fleece and I forgot shorts!
So right now i”m writing this portion on the plane from JFK to Madrid, we have a two hour lay over there. My dad and I are seated separately, both in our own isle about ten rows apart. Everything has gone fine today, everything is packed and the airport was a breeze… Except… …continue reading Israel: Day One
