Tonight’s Shoreline semi-finals game was a tight squeeze with Old Saybrook taking the lead. Cromwell lost by five points. It was an excellent game and I was lucky enough to get some good shots. Congratulations guys.

Congratulations to the Old Saybrook Rams! The OSHS basketball team is really doing well with another win against Portland last Friday.I guess it’s both a good thing and a bad thing that I haven’t gotten these basketball pictures up yet. Another wonderful victory by the Old Saybrook Rams taking on the Westbrook Knights last night! This basketball season is going to be a wild one. I was particularly happy when Old Saybrook had a 30 point lead and the Rams fans starting chanting, “Lets go Westbrook.”
On another note, I won’t be blogging much/at all over the next 10 days. I’m going to mexico and internet costs a fortune over there, so be prepared for a crazy crazy amount of pictures when I get back! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. And good luck to the Rams, I’ll be missing a few games while I’m away.

Old Saybrook High School had a great victory over Portland High School yesterday with a 52-41 win! The OSHS Rams are headed for a great season!
This was a great opportunity to play with my grandfather’s old Metz flash unit: it’s huge. It uses a nickel-cadmium battery back which sits on my hip, and the flash head is around 3×1.5 inches so it gets a fair amount of attention. But, in an indoor gymnasium it produces excellent results. I still have a lot to learn with this old guy but I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy the process. Here’s some shots from yesterday’s game:
