Basketball: Old Saybrook stomps Portland

Old Saybrook High School had a great victory over Portland High School yesterday with a 52-41 win! The OSHS Rams are headed for a great season!
This was a great opportunity to play with my grandfather’s old Metz flash unit: it’s huge. It uses a nickel-cadmium battery back which sits on my hip, and the flash head is around 3×1.5 inches so it gets a fair amount of attention. But, in an indoor gymnasium it produces excellent results. I still have a lot to learn with this old guy but I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy the process. Here’s some shots from yesterday’s game:
