About Aaron Snyder

My name is Aaron Snyder. I am a photojournalism major at Ohio University. I love capturing raw emotion. I try my best to make sure each photograph tells a story. If a picture is worth a thousand words it should say something.

My equipment starts with a Nikon D300. The lens I use most is my Nikon 35mm f2. I also have a 17mm f3.5, 50mm f1.4, 85mm f1.4, and a 80-200 f2.8. Flash units vary, as of now I’ve been just using a couple SB-800’s when needed.

The portfolio is meant to give future employers a taste of my talents.

This photo-blog is meant to exhibit my work and creativity in photography as well as web design/development. It serves as a medium to share photographs with family and friends.

I’ve had work published on various mediums: print, internet, web videos, etc.

Other than photography I’m heavily interested in computers. This hobby is evidenced by my web design and hosting company, Sound Web Design. I also have hobbies which are less dorky: sailing, guitar, going to concerts, movies, playing sports, etc.
