About Aaron Snyder

aaron-snyder-oshs.jpgMy name is Aaron Snyder. I’m going to be a freshmen at Ohio University. I hope to become a photojournalist some day. I love capturing raw emotion. I try my best to make sure each photograph tells a story. If a picture is worth a thousand words it should say something.

My equipment is still in it’s growth stage. I currently shoot with a Nikon D300, digital single lens reflex camera. The lens I use most is my Nikon 50mm F1.4. I also shoot a 20mm f2.8, 35mm f2, 85mm f1.4, 80-200 f2.8, and 35-105 f3.5-4.5 — all Nikon’s of course. For flashes I use either a Vivitar 285 or my grandfather’s old Mecablitz.

This photo-blog is meant to exhibit my work and creativity in photography as well as web design/development. It serves as a medium to share photographs with family and friends. Please contact me if you plan to use any of my shots (aesnyder@gmail.com) so I may give you much higher quality versions.

I belong to a Meetup.com photography groups in Connecticut. Are you interested in meeting other photographers? Check us out.

I’ve had work published on various mediums: print, internet, web videos, etc.

Other than photography I’m heavily interested in computers. This hobby is evidenced by my web design and hosting company, Sound Web Design. I also have hobbies which are less dorky: sailing, guitar, going to concerts, movies, playing sports, etc.
